Consulting the business on your accounts or
performing your transactions on any computer will be even simpler
from now on. Thanks to the Digipass, you can identify yourself and
sign your transactions on-line from any computer connected to the
Internet, anywhere in the world.
The Digipass is a small device that looks like
a pocket calculator. The device calculates your signature on the
basis of a code that you receive in Home'Bank or Home'Bank
Plus.
Working method
In order to work with your Digipass, you need
your start-up code (PIN-code). This code, and the unlock codes
(codes PUK 1 and 2) can be obtained from any Self'Bank or in your
ING branch after you have received your Digipass.
Switch on your Digipass and enter your PIN
code. Choose your secret code and confirm it. Now, your Digipass is
ready to use.
If you enter an incorrect PIN code in your
Digipass five times, your Digipass will be locked. In order to
unlock your device, you need to enter the PUK 1 code. If it locks
again, you will be asked to enter the PUK 2 code. It is impossible
to unlock the Digipass a third time. In that case, you need to
order a new Digipass.
Use
Go to the On-line services of Home'Bank or
Home'Bank Plus via
http://homebank.ing.be. In the window for the
identification, choose "Identification Digipass". At the end of
each transaction based on this identification, you receive a code
that you have to enter into your Digipass. Based on the input, your
Digipass then calculates a unique electronic signature that you
have to enter in Home'Bank or Home'Bank Plus. That ensures that
your transaction is totally secure.
